Inspired heavily by FF9. I unexpectedly died after not having saved for hours and was about to turn off the psx when the rebirth flame popped up out of nowhere and revived everyone. So, I was inspired to model it. Unfortunately I just couldnt get the background effects to look good. I think I've been staring at it too long or something. I even took a break for a few weeks, but still no help. So I just posted it up like this.

Omg favorite summon ever. I effing love phoenixes. How'd you get the bird right on? I tried drawing the Phoenix by pausing the game. But it never the way I wanted it this is fucking surreal, man. Also another cool summon is Fenrir. I have to say, Final Fantasy is truly inspiring. You gotta love that adorable Eiko Carol. ^^
