so three years later i've decided to revisit my original dnb spirit piece: [link]
... as i felt it was too static and didn't capture the frenetic and powerful essence of drum & bass. as usual, model/texture/rendering in 3dsmax. no hair sim this time, just alpha mapped meshes. ~1.03 million polygons rendered with light tracer @ 125 rays/sample, +1x bounce, 4h19m11s at 2250x3600. naturally 100% original models and textures. thanks to ~the-crazy-spork for valuable feedback as usual :3 |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
